First we should look at what wrinkle creams promise to do. Usually the selling points run along the same lines, no matter what the brand. They’ll make you look younger (maybe they’ll make you feel younger too!) They’ll make your skin soft and smooth. They’ll make you more attractive (they don’t usually say this one, but the advertisements for the creams make it clear enough.) So can a cream do all this?
The desire to look good is the powerful force that drives the cosmetic industry. Women all over the world want to look their best. Men also want their partners to be desirable. This leads to a large proportion of household incomes being spent on skin care creams.
If one starts counting the number of brands of wrinkle creams available on the shelves of shopping malls and cosmetic stores, he would probably go insane. Believe it or not but there are at least a million brands of anti aging skin care products available today.
Certainly, some of the creams probably can work miracles, but maybe they also work a smaller miracle as well: making women love themselves more. If someone takes the time out of their day to apply one of these divine creams, then they’re taking the time to do something for them: an important treat in today’s hectic world.
So with all this choice available how do you make an informed sensible choice about which anti wrinkle product would be best for you? There are ways to find help.
Maybe then, although the expensive ingredients which go into the bottles and pots can certainly help, the most important one is the one which comes from the woman who uses it: hope. If she hopes that it will work, and enjoys using it, then it will.
I asked at the beginning of the article if the best wrinkle creams were really more like magic potions because of the miracles they claimed to work. If they really can make you happier just by using them, then perhaps they are. There must be a little bit of magic in that, mustn’t there?
